Accused Found Not Guilty in Break-in, Triple Shooting of Local Man

A Windsor man charged with attempted murder in the shooting of another man during a botched and bloody break-in was set free Monday after a judge said the prosecution hadn’t proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

Defence lawyer Frank Retar said there was no evidence that the now-deceased Carter was the shooter either.
