Defence accuses Crown’s main witness of being actual killer
After days of intense grilling, during which the prosecution’s main witness confessed repeatedly to having lied in previous sworn statements to police and in courtroom testimony, Jacob Reaume was asked Thursday whether he himself was the actual killer of a young Windsor woman for which three other men are currently on trial.
“I’m going to suggest it was you, in fact, who fired those rounds at the car,” defence lawyer Frank Retar said.
