Ignoring previous advice to quit crime, local man jailed again
Bravo, 54, was sentenced Aug. 25 in Windsor’s Superior Court of Justice to 42 months in prison after pleading guilty to three of nine criminal counts he’d been facing, including possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.
“He comes from a good, hard-working middle class family — he just has drug issues,” defence lawyer Frank Retar told the Star.
Although his client has a lengthy criminal record — a judge once called it “a bit of an eye-popper” — Retar said there had been a long stretch when Bravo was in a “stable” relationship and away from drugs and crime. It’s those times when he’s “off the rails” that trouble and crime follows.
